Annalisa Sheehan is a Research Fellow in Geospatial and Environmental Modelling in the Population Health Research Institute. 

Annalisa was awarded her PhD in Environmental Science from Imperial College London in 2023. She was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London before joining St George's in November 2023. 

Annalisa's background is in GIS and remote sensing, with a particular focus on environmental modelling and air pollution. In her PhD, she applied deep learning methods to high-resolution satellite imagery to quantify traffic flow in the city of Barcelona.
